On October 21, 2011, during Small Business Week, the Northeast Avalon Regional Economic Development Board (NEA REDB) and its community partners will host an event targeted at; retirees and pre-retirement age individuals that could be potential new entrepreneurs. This is designed as a forum to share information on business creation; create a networking opportunity for potential second career entrepreneurs and business support organizations and government departments; and to highlight the work and effort of 55+ entrepreneurs.
The event will also launch a new information package to assist retirement age individuals interested in starting or purchasing a small business.
